2017 Lab Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Tester and Machine
The instrument is designed and made as per the National Standard of People’s Republic of China
GB/T3536-2008 “Test Methods for Flash Point and Fire Point of Petroleum Products
(Cleveland Open Cup Method)”. It is suitable to determine flash point and fire point of petroleum
products and asphalt, excepting fuel oils and petroleum products having open cup flash point lower
than 79 °C.
I. Main technical characteristics
1. It adopts a special heating furnace for operation safety. The heating power can be continuously adjusted for the requirement of test.
2. The instrument adopts desktop structure. It is with stainless steel workbench and stainless steel shell of heating furnace, so it is beautiful.
3. It is equipped with complete accessories. You only need to prepare coal gas or other civil combustible gas before test.
4. It is equipped with a fire extinguishing cover. It is in accord with the requirement of fire point test.

1. Power supply: AC 220V±10%, 50 Hz;
2. Heating device: quartz tube electric furnace; there is no flame and it is anti-explosive. The heating power can be continuously adjusted in the range of 0∼600W;
3. Thermometer: -6~400°C; Scale division is 2 °C; as per GB/T514;

(1) Gas source: coal gas (or other civil combustible gas)
(2) Spout diameter: 0.6∼0.8 mm
