12.What is CRI ?

The Color Rendering Index measures how much of an effect the light has on the perceived color of an object. The scale ranges from 1 to 100. A higher rating makes colors look natural and vibrant while a low rating can completely change the hue of objects. A high CRI alone does not mean colors will be accurate if the color temperature is extreme. Incandescent bulbs for example have a perfect CRI of 100, but the extreme yellow light will shift the colors.

The color temperature of a light source is the temperature of an ideal black-body radiator that radiates light of comparable hue to that of the light source.Color temperature is a characteristic of visible light that has important applications in lighting,Color temperature is conventionally stated in the unit of absolute temperature, the Kelvin, having the unit symbol K. Warm White: 2700K-3000K, Neutral white: 3000K-5000K, Cool white: above 5000K.
