According to a Reuters report on September 17, the US local rescue department official and Tesla said that a fire broke out in a super factory in Nevada, USA, on Saturday night. The fire was extinguished earlier on Sunday and production has resumed.
Information on the Tesla website shows that the Super Factory produces Model 3 motors and batteries. Tesla said that the fire did not cause casualties.
The Stori County Rescue Administration stated that the fire department responded to the fire report at the Tesla plant at 10:12 pm on Saturday night during the Pacific Summer Time, and firefighters extinguished the fire.
Joe Curtis, head of the fire department, said in a statement that they were handed over to Tesla for cleaning and repair at about 2:00 am on Sunday in the Pacific.
A Tesla spokesperson said that according to the company's emergency plan, the employees had been evacuated, and the fire did not cause any casualties. Production resumed on Sunday morning.
The spokesperson said in a statement that the fire was caused by the cooling tube coating oven on the third floor of the factory. The fire was quickly extinguished and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
The Tesla spokesperson did not disclose details of the damage caused by the fire.
This is the latest fire in the Tesla factory. Last month, a small fire broke out at Tesla's factory in California.
Tesla said in August that it expects to produce 50,000-5.5 million Model 3s in the third quarter of this year, and will turn losses into profits in the second half of the year. Tesla has been working hard to solve small problems affecting production.
