One of our customers, SMC Corporation, is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of pneumatic equipment. We have developed a long-term relationship with its subsidiary, SMC Pneumatics (Guangzhou) Ltd., who aims to offer high quality products with quick delivery to their clients. Our customer selected Guoxing because of our ongoing relationship and ability to readjust resources and machinery and capacity to meet their needs.
Pneumatic equipment, which is the main product of SMC, is utilized in broad areas such as medical equipment. Therefore, SMC has rigid quality standards for their product. As the manufacturer of non-standard parts of pneumatic equipment, Guoxing met with a tight timeline. Parts need to be produced on time because they are part of an overall complex assembly process, requiring all parts to be in place before assembly can begin.
To maintain customer satisfaction with our quality and work process, we made adjustments in our technology, equipment, and manufacturing processes, which shortened the lead time. We also created a cross-functional group which included competent engineers and technicians to develop a process that adhered to rigid quality standards.
