A hospital caught fire on December 17th in the western suburbs of Mumbai, India. The fire caused six deaths and more than 100 injuries. According to Indian media reports, the fire occurred around 4 p.m. local time. The fire department dispatched a number of fire trucks to the scene. At present, the fire situation has been controlled and the wounded have been sent to other hospitals for treatment.
At present, rescuers are searching all floors of the hospital to see if there are still trapped people. The cause of the fire is still unclear, but according to local police, the media reported that the possibility of fire caused by short circuit of power lines is relatively high.
