After the fire broke out, the Paris Fire Brigade dispatched more than 50 firefighters and arranged for air elevators and other equipment to be present, which lasted more than three hours to control the fire. It is reported that the fire was very fierce, although it did not cause casualties, but caused serious damage, the fire area reached 120 square meters, two apartments were burned to ruins, one floor collapsed, a pub opened on the street was destroyed, and could not be opened in the near future, the fire building at any time has the risk of collapse.

Fire brigade spokesman Valerian Foyt said that evacuated residents could not go home for the time being because of the dangerous fire building and the possible impact on the surrounding residential buildings.

According to Franois Vogeland, Director of District 11 of Paris, and Stephen Mahdinai, Deputy Director of Security Affairs, about 30 residents have been evacuated after the accident and temporarily settled in the Candy Stadium for the night. The district government will provide them with meals.
