Should develop good driving habits

Generally speaking, manual transmissions are mostly four-speed or five-speed stepped gear transmissions, usually with synchronizers, which are convenient for shifting gears and have low noise. Normally, the manual transmission usually travels 200,000 to 300,000 kilometers before the transmission may have some major failures. When driving, you should pay attention to the following points:

1. When reverse gear is engaged, it must be carried out while the car is stopped. Some cars also need to compress the reverse gear spring or lift the reverse gear knob. Similarly, after reversing, to make the vehicle move forward, the car should also be stopped.

 2. Depress the clutch to the end before shifting gears. When operating the shift lever, the action should be brisk, accurate, and gentle. Do not use excessive force, and do not pull or push hard to make the gears rattle; to avoid damage to the transmission control mechanism. When driving, do not put your hands on the gear lever for a long time, otherwise it will cause premature wear of the gear shift fork.

3. Never start the engine forcibly when the neutral gear is stalled, or enter the high gear when the vehicle speed is too low, or switch to the low gear when the vehicle speed is too high, so as not to damage the transmission components and the engine.

4. Shifting gears during operation must select the timing of shifting. Before increasing gears, the car should be accelerated first. When the vehicle speed rises to a certain value, the high gear should be engaged in time; when downshifting, when the vehicle speed drops to a certain value, Can be put into low gear. In ensuring safety, high-speed gears should be used as much as possible to reduce the wear of parts and reduce fuel consumption, and adjust the speed in time according to the road surface and traffic conditions.

The above knowledge is hoped to help riders in the maintenance of their cars.
