I. Erection of the mast
1. Wipe the joint of both ends of the mast section and rack pins and lubricate them
2. Open a guard rail, wind down the hook to attach the mast’s hanger
3. Attach a mast section with mast’s hanger
4. Lift the mast section up to the cage roof by winch
5. Close the guardrail and start the elevator, when the cage rises to the top of the guide rail, it shall start to drive until the top of the cage is about 300mm away from the top of the guide rail
6. Lift mast section with the boom, put it down into the vertical pipe and pin holes, tighten it with bolts
7. Release the hook and turn the boom back, tighten all bolts with 300N tightening torque
8. Connect all mast section as above until reaches the required height. With the increasing of guide rail frame, the wall frame should be installed at the same time, and check the vertical height of guide rail frame
9. If tower crane is used to install guide rail frame, 4-6 standard sections can be connected into a group on the ground first, and then lift the guide rail frame.
Note: if there is a counterweight guide way on the mast section, ensure that the different position of juncture should be less than 0.8mm.
II. Installation of tie-in
1. Install two brackets on the mast, tighten them with screws
2. Connect the two square pipes on wall bracket
3. Join the other parts with screws and pins. Adjust the distance in all directions, and correct the verticality of guide rail frame.
4. Tighten all bolts and start the elevator slowly to ensure that the hanging cage and counter weight do not collide with the attached wall frame.
