Since its inception, the Asia-Pacific Cultural and Creative Industry Association has promoted the "culture and creative achievement industry" as its goal, and based on Hong Kong, strives to develop the Asia-Pacific region and strengthens the development of cooperation with local chambers of commerce.
Malaysia’s representative of Malaysia’s China Silk Road Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Weng Shijie (Lord Tan Sri), also made a special trip to the Hong Kong Participation Awards. The two sides hope to establish a partnership to expand business in Dawan District and Beibu Gulf and strengthen cooperation with other Asia Pacific regions. APCIA will actively explore more conference developments in the Asia Pacific region this year. It plans to establish closer strategic partnerships with Myanmar and Malaysia. Earlier in June, it signed a letter of intent with the Hong Kong Myanmar Chamber of Commerce.
