Toronto, Ontario -- (press documentation corporation - January 15, 2019) -- Latin American mining corporation (TSXV: LAT)(" LAT "or the" company ") is very excited to announce its intention to complete a geophysical work program in butte town (" property "), northeastern Ontario, Canada. Now the company has signed a contract with a service provider called Generic Geo Inc., which will manage the program.
The property will need to complete two stages of the exploration programme. The first phase will include high-resolution uavs magneto-airborne geophysics, which will help identify control structures and lithology that may have mineralization potential. The second phase will be completed following a review of the unmanned aircraft's magnetic surveys, including inductive polarization geophysics of the project's most high-profile targets, which will help identify depth targets with potential mineralization prospects.Based on these plans and a review of the results, the company should be able to prepare a trenching and diamond drilling plan on the property.
The property comprises a total of 133 mineral claims and occupies approximately 1,621 hectares in butte town, Nippon, Ontario.Pitchblende, which contains uranium and rare earths, was discovered here in the early 20th century. This property is located in the Kiosk geological area and consists of mafic, quartz feldspar, basalt and other geological units. These different geological units contain radioactive granite-pegmatite dikes containing minerals such as arameans, uraniths, hydrochlorites, columnar rocks, and other rare earth and uranium-bearing minerals.
But the property has never been drilled, despite several historic excavations and small-scale mining operations on the project.Prospects for this project include the William Elliot & Mica lake prospect discovered in 1919, which contains 79.5% U3O8 and advanced rare earth elements in highly selective rock samples.Ryan, Mann and Sheehan prospects were discovered in 1921, in which selective capture of samples returned 0.45% U3O8 on a 3-foot chip sample;E.J Rivers prospect was discovered in 1953, in which the selected samples returned up to 9.75% U3O8 value and also contained advanced rare earth elements. In addition, the property is similar to that of the adjacent graphite kearney mine in Ontario.
