Maintenance of double cage building hoist

Double cage building hoist is mainly used for the construction of high-rise buildings, to guarantee safe, inspection and maintenance must be done as follow:

  •  Daily inspection

a.  Check whether all the connecting bolts are complete and tight

b.  Check the reliability of all limit switches

c.  Check whether each door, rope break and other switches are acting normally

  • Weekly inspection

a.  Check the clearance and tightening of roller guide of construction hoist

b.  Add new oil in time after checking lubrication conditions

c.  Check the control cable routing device

d.  Check all mast sections and wall joints

e.  Check the fixing condition of the roller of the counter weight and the balanced stress of the wire rope

f.   Check whether the cable is damaged

  •  Monthly inspection

a.   Check the wear condition of guide cage and traction wire rope of the hanging cage

b.   Check the braking torque of the motor (according to the requirements of the motor manual)

c.   Check whether the safety device is acting flexibly

  •  Inspection  for three months

a.   Check the guide wheel bearings and adjust and replace them according to the situation

b.   Check and adjust the gap between the adjustment roller and the column by 0.5~1mm, and replace it due to severe wear

c.   Conduct a fall test to check the reliability of the speed limit brake

d.   Check the activity and reliability of anti-fall device

e.   Check the load limiting mechanism on the roof of the hanging cage, and timely adjust when exceeding the standard

  •    Annual inspection

a.   Check the coupling of elevator brake motor and cycloidal reducer

b.   Check the wheel groove of the lift tractor and the locating stress components on the climbing frame

c.   Check the wear condition of each pillar of the cage and tractor
