Rack and pinion are accessories for suspended hoist platform, and when wear to a certain size, they must be replaced.
We can use 20-50mm common normal micrometer for measurement. When the gear’s common normal length is worn from 37.1 to less than 35.1mm, a new gear must be replaced. When the rack wear, measured by the tooth thickness caliper, when the chord height is 8mm, the tooth thickness is worn from 12.56mm to less than 10.6mm, the rack must be replaced.
Suspended hoist platform is used for high-rising building , so keep safety is most important. All components and accessories should be checked before daily use.
