A: 1 Cone main and driven gear meshing clearance exceeds the use limit. If the engagement gap between the first stage and the second stage reduction gear pair of the two-stage final drive exceeds the use limit, such an abnormal sound will occur. The meshing clearance of the gear can be adjusted to eliminate the sound.

2 The planetary gear and the half shaft gear meshing clearance exceeds the use limit. The gap should  be  removed by replacing the thrust washer to eliminate this sound.

3 The half shaft gear and the half shaft spline engagement gap exceed the use limit. Replace worn parts (such as external splines of the inner spline shaft of the side gear)

The mounting bolts of the 4 conical driven gears on the differential case are loose. The bolt can be retightened.

5 The lock nut of the half shaft flange is loose, so that the free clearance of the end of the half shaft is too large. After disassembling, if it is found that the parts are worn out, the lock nut should be tightened to eliminate the abnormal gap.
