The selected steel plate is 100% qualified without scrap, which is the performance of the plasticity of the steel plate, which is not economic and reasonable. The higher the rate of flushing, that is waste, and the selection of materials is not reasonable. The scrap rate is controlled at around 0.3%, which is the most reasonable and economical.
The principle of material selection is simply to meet the minimum engineering requirements of the part at the lowest price.

The following points should be considered in the selection of materials:
1. The service status of the parts;
2. The shape and size of the part;
3. The condition of the materials of similar parts of other models;
4. The manufacturing level of the mold factory;
5. Quality of various sheets [formability, weldability, economy, paintability, usability].
