① There is a crash when starting and shifting, and there is always abnormal noise when driving, especially in high-speed gear but at low speed. The cause of such failure is that the joint gap is too large, the output shaft and its support are excessively worn, and the fastening is poor.
② When there is no abnormal noise at the start, there is a metal impact sound during driving, or a continuous “beep” sound. The cause of such failures is that the universal joint is too tightly fitted or poorly assembled, the intermediate support is damaged, and the installation is poor.
③ During driving, there is a periodic abnormal noise that increases with the increase of the vehicle speed, and is accompanied by body chattering (when the vehicle speed is 5KM/h or more). The cause of such failure is that the drive shaft is bent (bending degree is greater than 0.5 mm), the universal joint is poorly positioned, the shaft tube is recessed, and the spline is poorly fitted.
