The safety protection device of construction elevator mainly include buffer, travel switch, limit switch, anti-fall safety device, overload protector and so on.
1. The buffer
It is placed on the bottom frame of the lift, when the cage is skidding, it ensure flexible contact when the cage landing down.
2. Travel switch
It is mainly installed in the outer fence safety door, single door/double door, skylight, which is used to control the travel and limit protection of mechanical equipment
3. Limit switch
Function is to cut off the main power supply, is an emergency stop switch, can not automatically reset
4. Anti-fall safety device
It is the most important safety device of the building hoist that is installed in the cage, the role is to limit the speed of the cage. When the cage is overspeed sliding due to malfunction, the anti-fall device begins to work so that the torque increases, in a certain distance the cage will brake smoothly, prevent the fall of cage, to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. The service life is 5 years, mandatory scraped, must be tested and calibrated every year, and need to do fall experiment every three months.
5. Overload protector
Function: when the hoist elevator is overload, it gives alarm and cut off the power circuit.
