1. The rack and pinion building hoist is used for both passenger and material transport, and its installation and disassembly work must be responsible by the professional team with qualification certificate issued by the competent construction administrative department.
2. Inspection the following items before operation:
a) No deformation of each part structure and no loosening of side bolts
b) Rack and gear, guide wheel and guide rail are engaged normally
c) Wire ropes are fixed well and without abnormal wear
d) Barrier-free within the operating range.
3. Before starting, check and confirm that the cable and ground wire are intact, and the control switch is at the zero position. After the cable is connected, check and confirm that the voltage is normal and no leakage. After starting, no-load lifting test should be tested, check the efficiency of each transmission mechanism brake and confirm normal before operation.
4. During the first load operation of each shift, when the cage is raised 1 ~ 2m from the ground, the elevator should stop to test the reliability of the brake. When the braking effect is found to be bad, it should be adjusted or repaired before running.
5. The load of cage should be evenly distributed, and no overload.
6. Operators should operate according to command signals. Before the operation should sound signal. The operator shall not leave the operating post until the main power switch is cut off.
7. When abnormal conditions are found in the operation of the building hoist, the lifting cage shall be stopped immediately and effective measures shall be taken to lower it to the bottom floor. Only after troubleshooting can the lift continue to operate. Press the emergency stop button immediately if any electrical loss is found during operation. Do not open the emergency button before troubleshooting.
8. The building hoist in heavy rain, fog, six and above the wind and guide frame, cable and other icing, must stop the operation, and the cage down to the bottom, cut off the power supply. After the storm, check all the safety devices of the hoist, and confirm that they are normal before running.
9. When the lift reaches the top or bottom layer, it is strictly prohibited to use the limit switch as the control switch to stop the operation.
10. When the elevator halfway stops due to power off or other reasons, it can be manual descent, and it shall not exceed the rated operating speed. Manual descent must be controlled by professional maintenance personnel.
