Reported that around 17:40 on the same day, Bangkok's Centara Grand at Central World came out of the fire, the fire spread very quickly, many people trapped upstairs.

Fire brigades from Baton Wan District rushed to the scene and found that a large amount of smoke was rising from the top of the hotel building. Hotel and mall staff quickly guided customers to escape to safety. At 18:30, considering the safety of customers, Shangtai Commercial and Trade Center announced the temporary closure of services, while facilitating the rescue of the wounded by the police and rescue workers.
