UVC Function
UV-C 250nm-280nm:
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), ribonucleic acid (RNA) and nucleoprotein in bacteria have the strongest ultraviolet absorption peak at 254～257nm.
After bacteria absorb ultraviolet rays, DNA strands are broken, causing cross-linking of nucleic acids and proteins to rupture, killing the biological activity of nucleic acids, and causing bacteria to die.
Quartz Glass
A. High temperature resistance. The softening point temperature of quartz glass is about 1750℃, and it can be used for a long time at 1100℃, and the high temperature can reach 1450℃ for a short time.
B. Good thermal stability. The thermal expansion coefficient of the adaptable glass is extremely small, and it can withstand severe temperature changes. When the quartz glass is heated to about 1100°C, it will not burst when placed in water at room temperature.
C. Good light transmission performance. Quartz plates have excellent light transmittance in the entire spectrum from ultraviolet to infrared, and the visible light transmittance is above 93%, especially in the ultraviolet spectrum, the large transmittance can reach more than 95%.
