Operation:
1. Open the on / off switch
2. Press the "READ" button to start. If idle for 30 seconds, it will automatically shut down.
The initial default unit is M, long press "SET" button for 3 seconds to switch between m/ft.
Measurement:
1. Press again the "READ" button after starting up, the laser beam is turned on, the distance between the device and the measured point is then displayed on the screen.
2. Place the bottom of the device flat closely on the wall in about the middle position between floor and ceiling. Please ensure that no barrier between the device and the measured point. and make sure your head or hands do not stand in front of the device.
Set measurement reference:
The initial measurement reference is the tail of the device, and the icon showing tail can be seen on the corresponding screen. If you press the "SET" button, the measurement reference will be transferred to the head, and the icon showing head can be seen on the corresponding screen.
Notes:
1. Before using the device, please make it adapting to the surrounding environment, so please wait for about 15-30 minutes, and let it settle to the current room temperature.
2. The measurement results will be displayed for about 30 seconds (or longer if you press other key within 30 seconds).
3. If you try to measure the distance less than 2 feet (0.55 meters) or greater than 60 feet (18 meters), there will be "ERROR" prompt on the screen.
