Description of Manual call point:

* The AW-CMC2166-6 Manual Call Point is used to manually transmit fire alarm signal, it provides contact closure to activate emergency equipment, audible and visual signals, and alarm panels.

* It"s designed for conventional fire alarm system for reporting fire or emergency condition by pressing its breakable glass. The manual call point can be test by a test key without breaking the glass.

Before Installing of Manual call point:

NOTICE: This manual should be left with the owner/user of this equipment.

Operation of Manual call point:

* The mannual push button provide textured finger-hold area that includes braille text. In addtion to push in and pull down text there are arrows indicating how to oprate the station, provide for non english speaking people
* Pushing in and then pulling down on the handle activates the normally open alarm switch. Ocnce latched in the down position the word activated appears at the top in bright yellow with a portion of the handle proturding at the bottom as a visible flag.
* Resetting the station is simple: Insert the key, twist one quarter-turn then open the station"s front cover. Causing the spring-loaded operation handle to return to its orginal position. The alarmn switch can then be reset to its normal position manually or by closing the station"s front cover. Which automatically reset the switch.

Loop Design and Wiring of Manual call point:

* The fire alarm control panel Zone wire can be connected to terminal 2(+), 4(-).
* And there is a 5.1V Zener diode should be connected to terminal 1A and 4A. (included by default).
* If the manual call point is in the end of the zone wire, a 5.6K resistance should be connected to terminal

Usage of Manual call point:

* It is generally installed in staircase, hallway, evacuation passage or places where people haunt.
