Product Description
The photoluminescent pigment developed by our company is made by activating alkaline earth aluminate with rare earth elements.
This material can glow in darkness for 12 hours continuously after it has absorbed various visible lights for 10-20 minutes.
Its luminance brightness and duration is at least 30 times of traditional luminescent materials represented by ZnS:Cu, and can be used repeatedly.
The test results issued by National Institute of Metrology (NIM) demonstrate that the product is nontoxic, radioactive free,and has stable chemical performance.
It can be made into various photoluminescent products, and have been widely applied to fire prevention, place-name signs,household electric appliances, clocks and watches, finery, garments, craftworks and gifts, and so on.
To make a glow in the dark product, what you want is a phosphor that is energized by normal light and that has a very long persistence. Bailihong company glow in the dark powder are derived from non-radioactive natural rare earth mineral crystals that possess the unique capacity to absorb and store energy from ambient light. In darkness, the crystals instantly begin to emit a luminous glow by releasing the stored light energy. Natural rare earth mineral crystals are the primary components that energize glow in the dark products.

They are utilized primarily in safety grade commercial products such as signs and emergency egress guidance systems. They are recognized as the essential ingredient for the satisfactory performance of
photoluminescent safety products.
Use for painting
The small particle size of our phosphorescent pigment is between 10 and 30 microns depending on the color. This is the ideal size for general craft projects including resin/epoxy, paintings, murals, wax, jewelry making, etc.We also have waterproof glow powder,if you used in water based mediums like acrylic paints without any issues.
Luminous powder use for Injection:
Ordinarily, the blackening phenomenon occurs during the plastic injection process caused by the friction between the powder and the screw stem. To avoid the problem, some aspects should be payed attention to.
1.For injection molding, customers should choose the soft glow in the dark powder with small particle size.
2.For the injection machine, customers should choose the ones with old and short screw stem (0.8m was preferred) .
3.If possible to avoid using machines, manual re-mix the glow in the dark powder with solvent is preferred.
Finally, the proportion of glow in the dark powder used during the injection is general 3%-10%. Based on the demanded brightness and cost, customers can adjust the percentage. But the suggested percentage is no less than 3% and no more than 10%.
4.During the injection molding, try the best to lower the temperature and pressure.
