Features of AW-CMC2166-6 Conventional Resettabe Manual Call Point

* The AW-CMC2166-6 Manual Call Point is used to manually transmit fire alarm signal, it provides contact closure to activate emergency equipment, audible and visual signals, and alarm panels.

* It"s designed for conventional fire alarm system for reporting fire or emergency condition by pressing its breakable glass. The manual call point can be test by a test key without breaking the glass.

* The manual push button provide textured finger-hold area that includes braille text. In addtion to push in and pull down text there are arrows indicating how to oprate the station, provide for non english speaking people
* Pushing in and then pulling down on the handle activates the normally open alarm switch. Ocnce latched in the down position the word activated appears at the top in bright yellow with a portion of the handle proturding at the bottom as a visible flag.
* Resetting the station is simple: Insert the key, twist one quarter-turn then open the station"s front cover. Causing the spring-loaded operation handle to return to its orginal position. The alarmn switch can then be reset to its normal position manually or by closing the station"s front cover. Which automatically reset the switch.
